Dear Timmy
Im just back from Europe - & Bull showed me your letter - Of course I'll go - why not - You must be losing your mind - to doubt it, and we'll have a bang up time - And why not let me come to Kill Care too afterwards - (A broker tried to sell me Kill Care yesterday)!!! It was killingly funny - then take a motor boat at our convenience and my up down to Deer Island about 20 miles - This is perfectly practicable - In being Saturday we should arrange for the motor boat beforehand - At the Island we should put up at the "Outlook" where the clubs go, not with the Beebes, at what I believe they call the "Lodge" - I wonder if we cant persuade Lloyd to Come up - Shall I write him? Also is Bob. Rodman in this part of the country - Harry been away I know nothing of the merriments of the fellows.
Im here with nothing to do let me know if I can help with the Arrangements -
Yours Faithfully

My Dear Governor:-
I take pleasure in introducing to you, Mr. Nissim Behar, delegate of the L'Alliance Israelite Universelle in America. Mr. Behar is held in the highest esteem by our co-religionists and is devoting his life for the purpose of bettering the condition of the Jews.
The L'Alliance Israelite Universelle does potential work in all countries, including the Orient.
Mr. Behar is endeavoring to secure the aid of leading men everywhere, regardless of religious belief, to further the laudable purpose of the L'Alliance. Therefore, I am impelled to ask the favor of a brief audience with you to see whether he cannot enlist your sympathetic cooperation in the accomplishment of his purpose. Yours truly, A. Abraham
