FARNHAM TO GRIFFIN, DECEMBER 4, 1908
Letterhead
December 4, 1908.
Mrs. J. C. Griffin,
43 West 39th Street,
New York City.
Dear Mrs. Griffin:
Replying to your letter of yesterday in regard to the property at 8th Avenue & President Street, would say that the amount standing on the Governor's book as the cost of this property on January 1st is
$7,685.45. This includes the taxes for this year and his proportion of interest on the mortgage up to January 1st. It does not, however, include interest on the payments made by him for the property from April 2nd, 1903, on which date the original $4,000 was paid, up to date. I did not have time to-day to compute this interest, and send you these figures thinking they would be sufficient for your purpose. If not, let me know and I will compute the interest and send you a statement. I return Mr. Gulick's letter herewith.
Yours very truly,
F. W. Farnham

Mrs. Jennie C. Griffin,
c/o Smith Premier Typewriter Company,
New York City, N.Y.
My dear Mrs. Griffin:-
Referring to our telephone conversation of this morning, I now inclose list of the bills received this morning in the Governor's letter of the 13th and also a list of those received yesterday in your letter of the 12th. I also return my letter giving a list of the camp bills, which I found with the bills returned to me this morning.
Those lists, with the list of January 8th, which amounted to about $1,100, cover all the bills now in my hands.
Yours very truly,
F. W. Farnham
