My dear Mrs. Ward:
Mr. Woodruff has received a letter from a man named King of New Haven, relative to the cleaning of monuments or stones in the Woodruff plot. The man says the stones are in pretty bad condition and ought to be cleaned. I spoke to Mr. Woodruff about this letter and he said that he would leaver the entire matter to you to do as you thought best. I am, therefore, sending you Mr. King's letter.
