Hear all about Chicago. I had a letter from Anna Harvey; she actually “squeezed-in” my short little “message” to the Sisterhood of Kgteners. I wonder, whether Mrs Curtis is now “President”?!
I hope so; but fear-some “Western” lady will “carry the [Palan]”.- I had & have the Physician to attend me. To-morrow my

“Class” re-opens; & I am dreadfully hoarse- not to speak of the pain I have yet in my sides. I have kept [seclude] by the Doctor’s advice.- The Photo of the boys is “dear”;as also “Gracie’” How thoughtful you always are. And- my hands were tied- this time, - & things were done “blunderingly”- “unbefitting”. You understand- I suppose. I will let you know, when I feel better.-
WIth love always
