My dear Mrs Meleney,
With all of the work- which seems to increase ever more- I could not write, much as I wanted to do so long ago. Saturday- I hope to see you at our meeting,- and to hear what interesting facto Mr. Meleney will tell us. It was so very good of him, to assent giving us the lecture- although he is such a busy man.
[page 2]
Even now- a little “ Easter greeting” was sent off to your address- for the dear children. I hope- George Lieber will like the Hare.- my vacation began today. And- after Saturday I mean to go “ out of town” for a couple of days. Mr. Hughes will again be in the city next week.- Also- Mrs Marie Shedlock- celebrated for her ability in “ Story - telling”
[page 3]
Is in the city. She is a very interesting woman.- my loving greetings for a “ Happy Easter” to you and yours- my dear Mrs. Meleney.- How I wish- you were living in New York! Brooklyn- is “ too far away” for me.- I feel well and happy!
Affectionately Yours
