My dear Mrs Meleney,
What can make you think “I were displeased with you”? You are so true, and so lovely,- that my heart goes out to you & yours’, - and I admire you, and am proud of you; and it pleases me more than I can express it, “that you extend your spirit in giving there lectures “outside”. - If I am some

Sometimes “still”- it is “because then I begin to grow a little tired”; and you much, please, not notice it. My recent short illness “pulled me a little down”, best I am all right again, and “my work is my pleasure.
I have, and am declining to lecture “outside”. Mrs Wheelock wrote & wanted me in Cincinnati for a j.k.U. end of February. * Mrs [Pectrain] also wote. However- I begged to be excused. But I have accepted

Accepted Mrs Wheelock’s invitation to address her Alumnae in June, if it come after the graduation day of my class June 10th.-
I trust you got my other letter which must have “crossed” with yours.-
