My dear Mrs. Meleney,
You know, we want to have you on one of the Ex: Com: of our Association. Please let me hear from you, if you will favor us? - Say "yes".- Also your name was missing from among the "slips" to give subject for discussion or instruction. Please, do so now,- one or more subjects. It will help!- I think, you are just as pleased as I am, that Jennie Merrill has

the position for Supervisor of N.Y. Kgtens. It will be a grand work she is doing! And that Mr. Meleney is also "in" for it,- all helps! Though it may not be direct work.-
I am very sorry, that you have moved to Brooklyn. All out of "selfishness" I say so for now I cannot go and see you! I know, I should not get "beyond the Bridge". Brooklyn seems such a strange place to find yourself in.
With kind regards for your husband, and love for the children, Affectionately Yours Maria Kraus- Boelte
