Bills &c came OK. note balance, but it will be sadly dissipated by check for discounting new note at Washington Trust. It will be about $2000.
Please find out what the two legislative Committees, on Charter from Murphy, & on Public Service from Kissel do on Tuesday the 17th & write me so I'll get it here Wed in Syracuse
You sent checks to pay Roberts Hardware Co for two little bills amounting to 8.25 & J. E. Dodge 14.77. Now, I thought there were several bills of but these concerns. I will hold these checks bill I hear further from you, as I should regret to pay just these little bills if there were more & larger ones -
