Dear Governor:-
Yours of the 1st instant is duly at hand with memorandum of new certificates held by the Ononadaga Trust Company. I have made the necessary entry on your book.
I got the certificate for a hundred shares second preferred from the Hamilton Trust Company and am sending it to Mr. Benedict this morning.
I arranged with the Washington Trust Company to have the certificates held by them transferred to your name but before they can do this, they require power of attorney executed by you and a letter from you requesting the transfer. If you will let me know at what time Monday I can see you at your office I will get the power of attorney and have the letter for your signature and then take them both to the Trust Company and arrange the transfer. [marginalia - This will complete the transfer of Typewriter]
I enclose herein check for the Genesee Diary Salt Company, check for Joseph Grenon asked for in your letter and also several checks and bills for mailing.
Very sincerely yours,
F. W. Farnham
[marginalia] P.S. Mr Benedict promised to arrange the transfer of the Worcester Salt Stock, held by Mchnts Ex Bk
