Hon. T. L. Woodruff,
New York City, N.Y.
Dear Governor:-
I inclose herein check to your order for $500.00, as requested by Mrs. Griffin over the telephone yesterday. I also inclose checks for various bills received yesterday, with envelopes as usual. Will you kindly have them mailed when signed.
In looking over the lease of the stable which you sent me, I find that it provides that you should have the privilege of occupying the premises up to September 1st without further charge. In your letter of the 8th instant you said that you were to have it until the first of October. Which is correct?
I have deposited to your account Maltine check for $750.00.
Yours very sincerely,
F. W. Farnham
