Mr. F. W. Farnham,
The Maltine Co.,
8th Ave. & 18th St.,
Brooklyn.
My dear Mr. Farnham:
Please draw a check for the enclosed bill of the American Telegraph Co., and send to me at Syracuse so that I can sign and mail on Monday. You might also send me a check to cover the enclosed bill of the Lotos Club. The Union League Club dues amounting to $75.00 must, of course, be paid. Therefore, please enclose a check for that.
How is it that you have included in your list of unpaid bills, the bill of George N. Ostrander for $40.15. I am sure we sent him a check the other day. In fact, I have before me a letter from Ostrander acknowledging receipt of my favor of the 5th inst. and thanking me for the check enclosed. I enclose his letter for your information, as he refers to my taxes up there. I make the amount of unpaid bills $1100., including Ostrander's bill, which, it seems to me, must be paid. Within a few days, you will receive bills from Jack McSweeney and the monthly payrolls. Outside of the Union League Club a/c, there is no bill which you need hurry about paying on the list received from you today.
Sincerely yours,
