My dear Governor -
I hope you have succeeded in finding a good rest in camp - which I am sure will be of much benefit to you.
Here not seen anything of Mr. Hering, but understand he will be down tomorrow to lay out the ground for the house -
Business seems to

be keeping up a good place. Last week a new saleswoman sold a $15000 plot in the new section - some esteem good sales were made - I think I have succeded in securing a good couple to run the house for $50 per month - The man is a [?] of the Adirondacks who is the coak - as the McDonalds are expected to dien with us on Sunday

next I wondered whatever you could bring down some Vension with you, which I thought would be well to have for dinner - I am taking it for granted you have been having good luck!
If Jack has any preserves, jellies & &c to spare I should like to have him pack a box carefully & send them to me by express or freight C.O.A.

I trust Margaret has recovered from her accident -
If possible I should appreciate your getting me word [?] I may expect venison for Sunday, as you may be corresponding with Mrs Griffin
Best regards to all -
Always affectionally
Clara [Morrison]
