Mrs. C. E. Ussher,
Eastman Park,
Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
My dear Dot:-
Your telegram was forwarded to me here. I have a sort of appointment to see Gaines in New York next Monday or Tuesday, and am writing to him now that he must make it Monday, as I am going down for Sunday and Monday, and will tell him to come in the afternoon. I have to be in Brooklyn on Sunday, or would see you then.
Give my love to your mother and tell her I am going to write her just as soon as I possibly can, but I do not get time to attend to the most imperative demands upon me.
I got a letter from that woman, Mrs. W. B. Clark of Dalton, Mass.
I'm afraid you will get into trouble if you don't settle up the accounts there.
Yours very sincerely,
