My Dear Governor:-
Enclosed I send you a copy of our brief in the case of Woodruff v. Gaines. If not too much trouble, I think you will be interested in reading this brief. It will show you, I believe, that we have the case. You must be interested in the matter indirectly at least. After reading the brief I wish you would make an appointment so that I can speak to you for a few moments about it. I am anxious to see you before the case is reached for argument on appeal.
