My dear Governor:
I have your letter of the 17th. The President requests me to ask if you can not come to lunch on Thursday, August 13th, at 1:30 o'clock. If so, you can take the train leaving East Thirty-fourth Street, New York, at 10:50 A.M., arriving here 12:20. William Barnes, Jr., is to lunch with the President on that date.
Please advise me if you accept.
Very sincerely yours,
Wm Loeb, Jr
Secretary to the President.
Hon. Timothy L. Woodruff,
Raquette Lake, N.Y.
